Hyperliquid is poised to launch its HIP-3 upgrade on October 13, 2025, a move that will democratize the creation of perpetual futures markets. The upgrade eliminates centralized gatekeeping, allowing any deployer meeting on-chain requirements to list new markets. A stake of 500,000 HYPE tokens will be required to launch a permissionless perpetual DEX on HyperCore.

The integration of HyperEVM will further enhance smart contract capabilities and governance within the ecosystem. This development signals Hyperliquid's commitment to decentralization, giving developers unprecedented control over market creation without requiring immediate action from existing users.
